FAYZAH FIRE
Brian Green:
Brian takes the foundations of two styles (Popping and House), and how  to cut and paste them; a.k.a Fuse/mix. He will show how to take ideas from two different ideas/styles of dance and put them together to make fresh, playful, and innovative choreographic and improvisational ideas. Connect with inner playfulness to bring out your dance.
Focus: playful, fresh, synergy
Fayzah Fire:
Fusion; World Dance & Street Styles, United Styles©.
Fayzah will share techniques from Argentine Tango, Tribal, & Middle Eastern/North African dances, combined with illusionistic elements of Waving & Popping. She will show ways to deepen your wave dimensions through internal movement & muscle control, (which also releases nutrients into the body & awakens the organs). Squeezing out tension with lava like movement, feel good undulations, & breathing through intricate accents & isolations, allowing your dance to unfold naturally.
Focus: connecting with breath, awakening, enjoying
Funmi will highlight dances from Kongo & its obvious connection to many dances we see today. (The roots of Samba, Salsa, Merengue, Hip Hop, House.) Funmi will teach dances of flirtation, harvest, healing & celebration, as well as songs. Dance moves are funky, fast footwork, & intense body isolation. Very refreshing and healing.
Secret technique from the Kongo, the motherland.
Focus: expressive, theatrical, restoring
